FAITH in GOD

An unschooled 15 year old girl was found faithful by God and she remained faithful to His spoken word. Today, regardless of what the world looks like, our future is found in our faithfulness to God. People of faith are faithful, but are they faithful to their rituals, to what the denomination preaches, or to God? How important is it for a believer of Jesus Christ to be faithful to God, and remain faithful to God? God says "Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful." 1 Corin 4:2 NIV ~ NOW would be today in 2012. God requires that those who have been entrusted with the Holy Spirit, that we must be proved faithful. "Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful." NKJV ~ We are considered to be good or bad stewards of what we have been given, which is the GIFT of FAITH, and that FAITH is in God. We are to be found faithful in God, and in His Word, NOT man's commentary, or in the opinion of the saints within a church. God did not say that we are to be found correct, but that we are found faithful to the Word of God, to the end. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is faithful to His word, and righteous in the forgiveness of our sins when we confess them. God does not require us to WORK for our forgiveness, He simply requires us to confess our sins and by FAITH we are saved, over and over and over again. Let us read through the HALL OF FAME of those who were found faithful: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Faithful Abraham By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. Our Heavenly Hope: These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them." HEBREWS CHAP 11 - NKJV Where is your FAITH placed? Oh Lord we draw a circle around the City of Stockton, we draw this circle with the blood of Jesus and we speak boldly, in the name of Jesus that the city be delivered from evil, and we stand faithful in prayer, in the midst of this city until you deliver it. AMEN

BE ENCOURAGED BY OUR USA HEROS OF FAITH: 52 of the 55 signers of The Declaration of Independence were orthodox, deeply committed Christians. The other three all believed in the Bible as the divine truth, the God of scripture, and His personal intervention. It is the same congress that formed the American Bible Society. Immediately after creating the Declaration of Independence , the Continental Congress voted to purchase and import 20,000 copies of scripture for the people of this nation. Patrick Henry: "An appeal to arms and the God of hosts is all that is left us. But we shall not fight our battle alone. There is a just God that presides over the destinies of nations. The battle sir, is not of the strong alone. Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it almighty God. I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death." In 1776, he wrote this 'It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here.'
Thomas Jefferson: 'I am a Christian, that is to say a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. I have little doubt that our whole country will soon be rallied to the unity of our Creator and, I hope, to the pure doctrine of Jesus also.'

George Washington: His farewell speech on September 19, 1796: 'It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible. Of all the dispositions and habits that lead to political prosperity, our religion and morality are the indispensable supporters. Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that our national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.' President Washington wrote these words in his personal prayer book: 'Oh, eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work. Wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the lamb and purge my heart by the Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in thy fear, and dying in thy favor, I may in thy appointed time obtain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life. Bless, O Lord, the whole nation.

  2. Both Kennth Copeland and Jessie Dupantis spoke on the Believrs Voice of Victory - that God has been faithful to them, because He found them faithful in confessing their mess ups, their many many many mistakes.

    "We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

  5. Jesus is NOT emBarrased over my repeated sins ~ my murmuring, or by anthing I say or do! Jesus is my Advocate, when I confess, He runs to greet me, to release me from shame as He is quick to forgive and PROMPT me to GET UP and walk in His blessing.

    All that I do is a witness, when I witness to Jesus the CLARITY the Holy Spirit gives me about my short comings, when I confess faithfully to Jesus, my sins, the High Priest finds me faithful in God's holy eyes.

    DANIEL was found faithful even in a lion's den. He did not say "why did God abandon me" Hang out with faithful people ~ People who are quick to listen, slow to speak, and careful NOT to judge, people who are filled with grace and the FEAR of the Lord, are people who have been ENABLED by GOD to walk through fire, to courageously FACE the King, and like Esther, the sceptor was extended, and we are SAVED by His grace again.

    Remember the FAITH Joshua, Abraham, Sarah, Ruth, Esther, Paul, Mary ~ their FAITH was without a bible! We determine who we are by our faith in God. Abraham did not do his best until he was 100 - now we have the whole counsel of God in 2012 - We are put here for such a time as this TO EXERCISE OUR faith IN GOD, in our blessed REDEEMER, Who extends His sceptor to us, over and over again...as we confess our sins.

    Statement of Faith

    We believe that Truth is found in a journey, not a destination. So, as we state our beliefs, we are in no way claiming that we have all the Truth. Truth is a person and that person is Jesus Christ. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we grasp more fully the Truth. We derive our statement of beliefs from the Bible. The Bible is infallible; we, however, are not. Therefore, we try to approach the text in humility and interpret the Scripture to the best of our ability. What we will not do is make excuses for the Scripture. Rather, we will embrace its tension. We will strive to be comfortable with our differences as well as our questions. As Paul said, "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified" (1 Corinthians 2:2, NKJV).

    Fundamental Doctrine

    Salvation is by grace and through faith in Jesus Christ. As we respond in faith, grace enables us to repent (turning toward God as we confess and forsake our sin), be baptized into Jesus Christ, and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the ability. We shall endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit without contending for our different views to the disunity of the body.

    Our Beliefs
    A.The Bible is God's perfect guidebook for living (2 Timothy 3:16).
    B.Nothing in creation "just happened." God made it all (Genesis 1:1).
    C.God is one; infinite in power, holy in nature, and personal in His love for mankind. Through the grand story of redemption, He has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1).
    D.Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary and, as such, is fully God and fully man. He is the Son of God in whom the completeness of God exists (1 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 1:23).
    E.Grace is the only way to have a relationship with God (Ephesians 2:8-9).

    I.The church is people, not a building or denomination (1 Corinthians 12:27).
    J.Faith is the only way to grow in our relationship with God (Romans 5:2).
    K.There are eternal rewards and judgments. Death is not an end -- it is a beginning (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 22:12; 1 Corinthians 3:12-15).
    L.Tithes and offerings are an expression of heartfelt worship (2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Malachi 3:8-11).
    M.Believers in Jesus Christ should live in unity regardless of doctrinal persuasion (1 Corinthians 12:12-14).
    N.The church is to serve people like Jesus served people (James 1:27; Matthew 25:45).
    O.Sex is a gift for marriage. Marriage is between one man and one woman (Matthew 19:4-6; Hebrews 13:4).
    P.Healing is made available by Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:24).
    Q.Jesus is coming again (Revelation 22:20).
